Today i’ll be showing you how to install these Oracle LED headlights, these are 9006 (low beam) and they are going in my 97 Eclipse GSX.
Tools needed:
- Philips Screw driver
- Needle nose pliers
- 10mm socket
- Ratchet
You may not need all of these tools, but i took my bumper and headlight housings out so i could see what i was doing better, but you may not have to.
Connect the bulb to the driver box, They only go in one way and then are secured by screwing the nut to the connector.
The bulbs only go in one way, so you can’t get it wrong, but just make sure you will have an LED pointing up and one pointing down.
The little wire clip i modified on mine, because the tab kept hitting the fan on the back of the bulb, So i took it out and broke off the tab with needle nose pliers. The part you break off should like this.
Then i used the needle nose pliers to clip the bulb in.
Then just plug them into the stock connector that was plugged into the stock bulb and your done! You wont be able to use the dust cover because of the wire coming from the light and the fan on the back of the bulb. Now turn them on and see the difference.
